The Dietrich School Electronics Shop, located in Eberly Hall with a satellite shop in Crawford Hall serving the Neuroscience and Biological Science Departments, provides high-quality design, fabrication, and repair of equipment and instrumentation. Services include maintenance and repair of a wide range of equipment such as hotplate stirrers, chillers, centrifuges, spectrometers, and most other electronic equipment. The Electronics Shop also provides custom design and construction of circuit boards, controllers, and interfaces. Please note that the shop does not maintain a loan pool of equipment to check out. Borrowing equipment is generally not permitted, however, some exceptions may be granted on a case-by-case basis. All equipment submitted for service must be properly decontaminated before delivery.
