(hide this warning on this page)The Unified Flow Core (UFC) provides advanced flow cytometry and cell sorting services to researchers at the University of Pittsburgh and neighboring institutions. Services include instrument setup, data analysis, and consultation for experimental design. Training is available for independent use of analytical cytometers. Assistance is also available for sample preparation and evaluating whether flow cytometry is suitable for specific research needs.
The Unified Flow Core has the following instruments at each Oakland and Shadyside location:
Assembly Building G532: two cell sorters (1 bio-contained), five cytometers (2 full spectral), one imaging cytometer, and one chip cytometer
BST E1514: two cell sorters (bio-contained) and five cytometers (2 full spectral)
